The workshop will be held at the Champetre Country Retreat. http://www.champetrecounty.com/ We hope to have good weather to take advantage of some night shooting opportunties. Included in your registration fee is instruction and all meals and snacks beginning with a Friday evening night shoot (weather permitting) and a full meal and ending with lunch on Sunday. So start and end times are approximate right now but 7 pm Friday to 2 pm Sunday.
The intermediate workshop will build on the skills you learned in the intro workshop and focus on more advanced techniques like bracketing, tripod shooting, long exposures, workflow and some editing. Weather permitting, there will be some night shooting opportunities, so please bring your tripods and warm clothing.

Workshop Itinerary
Friday Evening –
Wine and Cheese reception. Followed by an evening of shooting. We will be working on focusing in the dark. The important technique of bracketing and understanding how to achieve correct exposure. After dark, night shooting. Long exposures, stars, and hopefully aurora.
Saturday Morning (Late Start) –
We will work on understanding workflow. We will be organizing images, creating a simple workflow and editing our images. This will be computer and coffee time.
Saturday Afternoon –
Class time. Topics will include: shooting quickly, shooting with accurate exposure and focus. Using tripods and cable releases. We will focus on specific shooting situations that relate to interests of the group.
Saturday Evening –
Night shooting. Running water, star trails and shooting in the dark.
Sunday Morning (Late Start) –
Computer time. Work flow, and editing.
Sunday Lunch/Afternoon –
Show and Tell. Lunch and photo critique. Goal of the weekend is to get some truly exceptional photos. Sunday afternoon is the time to show it off.
