Join Greg Johnson, Tornado Hunter on another amazing photography excursion — this time into the Yukon territory of Canada. We will be staying on the fringe of the world renowned Kluane National Park. September 12-19 2017. This expedition is limited to 12 Guests.
Your advanced photo experience begins when we meet in Whitehorse. Greg will offer an evening photography workshop to help ensure you have all the skills you need for the following week’s excursion of a lifetime, where camera in hand, you will have ample opportunity to capture everything that unfolds before you as you journey through the Yukon.
We will be exploring the Kluane and Haines AK regions. We will be staying at the Kluane Bed and Breakfast, where you will make camp and experience an outdoor paradise complete with cabins for sleeping and delicious meals cooked in the bunkhouse. The first and last night will be in Whitehorse, with 5 nights at the Kluane B & B

This excursion has an enhanced physical component that includes Hiking in Mountain terrain
Day 1 – Arrive in Whitehorse. Meet and greet and group meal.
Photography briefing and night shooting lesson.
Day 2 – Depart for Haines Junction
Walking tour of the local area. Photography of fall colours and wildlife.
Night shooting of Aurora and Stars
Day 3 – Drive to Haines Alaska and the Bald eagle preserve and Grizzly Bear photography
Return to Cabins.
Day 4 – Exploration of the Kluane river (Grizzlies) and surrounding mountains.
Day 5 – Exploration of the Kelsall Lake watershed (British Columbia)
Day 6 – Hiking in Kluane National Park (Unesco World Heritage site)
Day 7 – Creek exploration, gold panning, Glacier flights and fishing.
Day 8 – Return to Whitehorse.
$2950 per person + GST
